Introduction: This Course is designed to give an opportunity to those who want to get trained as counsellors but cannot attend a full time course because of various reasons like a full time job, family and so on. Anyone (teacher, HR professional, manager, parent, home-maker…) who has a passion to be a counsellor can apply for this course.
Eligibility: This course is in primarily designed for those who have completed the Certificate Course in Basic and Advanced Counselling Skills or Certificate Course in Counselling Psychology at Montfort College. But Those who have done any basic course in Counselling Skills elsewhere.
(Those who have not done any course in Counselling Skills also can apply for this course. They will have to study Counselling Skills along with this course. The details will be discussed with applicants after they register for the course)
Features of the Course
This is a Diploma Course in Counselling Psychology offered by Montfort College
Total credits for the course are 40 over 11 subjects, across two semesters.
Classes will be only on first three or four Saturdays of the month.
Modality of pedagogy: class room learning (50%), self-learning (50%).
Duration from July (last week) 2018 to May 2019.
Fees: Rs. 63,000/- (can be paid in instalments as decided by the college).
Course will commence only if there are a minimum of 12 registrations.
Those who complete this are eligible to join the MSc in Counselling Psychology through lateral entry , that is join the 2nd year of MSc – full time) offered by Martin Luther Christian University at Sampurna Institute of Advanced Studies (Montfort College).
